Community Peacebuilding and Development Listening Circle
Flomo Theater Inc and ECOWAS (The Economic Community of West African States) continue to strengthen their relationship. This partnership has had a far reaching impact on communities that have been languishing in intra communal confrontations.
The SIDA, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, supported transitional support to ECOWAS, a project which Flomo Theater Inc is an implementing partner, is harmonizing disputes and bringing communities together in finding common solutions to their own problems.
The setting up of ECOWA/SIDA supported listening circles especially in Bomi, Cape Mount and Gbarpolu counties with an extension into the Southeast are essentially sustaining the peace and fostering enhanced mutual communities relationships.
Flomo Theater remains immensely grateful to ECOWAS and the Swedish Government for its continued support to sustaining the peace and improving communities relations.
Mid october 2019, the team just arrived in Sasstown, Grand Kru county for the establishment of a new ECOWAS radio listening circle (see the picture below).
